About Peterborough Rape Crisis Care Group

Peterborough Rape Crisis Care Group was established in 1983 to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental service for people affected by rape and sexual violence. Today it works across Peterborough, Fenland, Huntingdonshire and Bedfordshire, providing specialist emotional support, advocacy and group work for survivors and those affected by their experiences.

Peterborough Rape Crisis Care Group works with Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre through the Cambridge & Peterborough Rape Crisis Partnership, combining the strengths of two independent specialist organisations. It is also engaged in Survivors at the Centre, contributing its experience of cross-county delivery, specialist first responses and survivor-centred practice to the wider regional programme.
