Sharing Knowledge

Where thinking, evidence, policy, experience and research come together across the partnership.

Our knowledge

Turning experience into learning and change

Synergy East brings together decades of specialist practice, survivor insight and regional experience. We use that knowledge to strengthen services, develop the workforce and contribute to wider change in how sexual violence and abuse is understood and responded to.

Our learning comes from many places: the experiences survivors choose to share with us, frontline practice, service data, evaluation, research and the expertise of our partner organisations.

Through Survivors at the Centre, we are building stronger ways to bring this knowledge together across the region. Shared data and frontline insight will help us identify barriers to access, patterns of need and gaps in provision, while survivor involvement will inform service development, training and system change.

We want learning developed through Synergy East to strengthen specialist practice locally while contributing to better responses across health, justice, safeguarding and the wider sexual violence sector.

Our history provides important context for how specialist sexual violence services and regional partnership working have developed across the East of England, and we will use this space to share key milestones, learning and archive material.
